Watches & Wonders season is here, and it has been a solid two weeks of nonstop horological innovations and new watch straps. Brands have also stepped up their game with star power, launching campaigns featuring a dazzling array of celebs, from Hollywood to K-drama.

Chopard managed to nab Julia Roberts for their new Happy Diamonds campaign. The brand’s signature Happy Diamonds watches are known for the loose diamonds tumbling over the dial, and it’s no accident that it chose Roberts with her million-watt smile to convey the joie de vivre that is the centre of this particular launch.

The brand got 32-year-old Cannes favourite Xavier Dolan to direct the campaign with Roberts, and it has shared the behind-the-scenes footage exclusively in Asia with STYLE. 


“I am really happy right now,” Roberts said during the shoot. “It’s been such a beautiful day and I have felt such a really great sense of kinship that I had not expected today, so I’m super happy.”
