What Vietnamese heiress Tien Nguyen has been up to after Covid-19 isolation in a luxury villa – from donating 750,000 face masks to the Philippines to helping the underprivileged in her country

The daughter of Vietnam’s billionaire ‘branded-goods king’ Johnathan Hanh Nguyen may have spent her time battling the coronavirus in the splendid isolation of her family’s luxury villa – but since recovering the IPPG heiress has been helping the disadvantaged, both at home and overseas, through donations and charity work
Tien spent her isolation in the lap of luxury at her family’s villa, an exclusive beachfront property a few minutes from the ocean and in a prosperous neighbourhood in Vũng Tàu, the largest city in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu province.
Post-recovery, Tien expressed her appreciation towards her family and Vietnam in heartfelt words, stating that she would be forever in debt to her parents, who gave her life and love, and to the country that took care of her during this difficult time in her life.
To show her gratitude, Tien officially took over the leading position at IPPG’s Fund for Community and joined numerous charitable events to support the underprivileged in Vietnam and abroad.
One of her first overseas trips was in April with her father and her brother, Henry Nguyen, to donate 750,000 face masks and other protective medical equipment to the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines. It made headlines for weeks in the Philippines.
