Sportswear line Domin8 to open Hong Kong pop-up
Ziggy Bautista, founder of the sportswear line, tells Alba Pinto he's excited to showcase the brand to Hong Kong's gym rats

"I've loved sport for as long as I can remember, and I've always maintained a keen sense of fashion," says Ziggy Bautista, founder of sportswear line Domin8. Bautista, who worked in interiors and architecture before moving into sports apparel, says he's excited to showcase the brand to gym rats across Hong Kong: "I feel that Domin8 is very basic and comfortable, but also has some edge. We use a combination of materials that are comfortable while the designs show off parts of the body and are inspired by street wear."
the range spans tees and tanks to string vests and hoodies made with lightweight fabrics suitable for the Asian summer. For gym junkies, all the necessary trimmings are on offer: wrist wraps, knee sleeves and snap-back baseball caps.
we're big fans of the Domin8 tank (HK$250) and baseball cap (HK$180; both above right), and the T-shirts (above left; HK$250 each).
there will be a pop-up store at Little Square, 21 Square Street, in Sheung Wan, from 10am to 7pm next Saturday and Sunday.
