Dare to bare Hong Kong designer Erbert Chong has moved into the realms of gothic glam with his winter collection, moodily titled Black Metropolis. Inspired by the art-deco architects of the 1920s, the line is sultry and, at times, more than a little daring, with flashes of flesh, sheer panels and hip-high slits in a number of standout pieces. The fabrics come from one of Beijing’s oldest producers of fine Chinese print silk. We’re mad about the black qipao-style dress with green ombré fringing (right; HK$13,400) as well as the one-sleeve leather biker top (above; HK$5,625). Erbert Chong is available at www.erbertchong.com.
On the side of a laptop case, poking out of a handbag, under the arm of a model - Mischa's signature print has gone viral in Hong Kong. Now a new capsule collection is incorporating the coveted hexagon pattern into a camouflage design. The unisex range is available in two colour schemes - Camo Green and Camo Orchid. For a funky weekend bag, there's the Voyager Duffel (below left; HK$2,790). For loose change or make-up, we love the Amtrak pouch (below right; HK$580). Mischa is available at shopdescreateurs.com.

Show flats Most women will agree that climbing Hong Kong’s back alleys in six-inch stilettos is one of the city’s greatest hazards. Cocomojo must have had us in mind when designing its Cocorose collection – a wonderful series of foldable flats that fit easily into a handbag. What’s more, they’re incredibly comfortable and come in a range of colours and styles for onthe- go mixing and matching. If we had to choose though, we’d go for the Diffusion Barbican Silver Diamond (above right), for ease of accessorising, and the Diffusion Barbican Blue Snake (above left) for a shot of colour. The shoes range between HK$1,000 and HK$1,600 and are available at 2/F, Entertainment Building, 30 Queen’s Road Central, tel: 2203 4013.
