Big bang For a bold statement this autumn, look no further than Céline’s latest oversized gemstone jewellery. Tints of amber, teal and purple give the collection an earthy texture while asymmetrical pendants offset the Liberace overtones with a more rustic, native American look. We love the amber plexi necklace with geometric-shaped gemstones and lambskin cord (top: HK$12,500) and the understated Baroque Flaque single earring in brass and enamel (above: HK$5,700). Céline is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2525 1281.

Imperial footprints The princess of pumps, Charlotte Dellal (of Charlotte Olympia fame), has launched Shanghai Express, a line of shoes and accessories for autumn-winter that draws on the lavish textiles and traditional motifs of dynastic China. While the panda faces, tassels and 3D dragonheads display the British designer’s tongue-in-cheek humour, the collection’s hand-painted heels and ornate embroidery prove she takes the details seriously. We love the imperial blue Fantastic Dolly platform stiletto (top: HK$9,300) as well as the panda flats in porcelain white (above: HK$6,200). Charlotte Olympia is available at On Pedder, 18 Queen’s Road Central, tel: 2118 3489.
Chain reaction Inspired by her familys collection of armour, Tory Burch has channelled medieval glamour for her autumn-winter accessories collection. Tapestry-print shoulder bags join cross-and-chain ear cuffs while calf-hair muffs add a lashing of present-day texturing to the olde-world mix. The printed belt with chains (top: HK$3,980) would be a fabulous addition to a monochrome wardrobe. We also love the medium-frame satchel in Tuscan olive (above: HK$10,480). Tory Burch is in Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 3421 1229.
