Who started it? Founded in 1909, Dorothy Perkins is a stalwart of the British high street. And the fashion retailer’s most popular collection, Lola Skye, is now available in Asia, offering playful, bohemian outfits at affordable prices.
Why we love it: the style is festival chic meets edgy teen, with a smattering of funky prints and girly motifs. The latest collection plays around with materials such as chiffon, lace and tulle while using traditional cuts to balance some of the more eccentric designs. The range is perfect for the summer, with sundresses, strappy camis and jumpsuits in varying shades of pastel and muted monochrome on offer.
What we’d pick: one of our favourites is the gunmetal sequin pencil skirt (HK$549) that’s best worn with a simple tee (HK$239; both far right). We also love the leaf floral jumpsuit (right; HK$499) – cute, casual and easy to wear.
