Lucciola Restaurant & Bar review: quintessential Italian fare at The Hari’s classy, cosy venue on Lockhart Road, Wan Chai
- The Wagyu beef carpaccio was lean and blood red, served with cheese and arugula – and a delicious Hari sauce
- But the cavatelli pasta with Alaskan king crab was our highlight, with firm and buttery pasta and a welcome spicy kick
FARE Classic Italian
AMBIENCE The dining area itself is not large, with only about 10 tables and a bar. There is a lounge area just outside the restaurant where you can choose to eat as well. The restaurant decor is tasteful and cosy.

TURN-ONS The Wagyu beef carpaccio with Hari sauce ($228) was a great choice to start the meal with. The Wagyu was lean and blood red and served with cheese and arugula. We could not quite tell what was in the Hari sauce but it was delicious.
The cavatelli pasta with Alaskan king crab (HK$328) was absolutely the highlight of our meal. The pasta was firm and buttery, but also came with a spicy kick. They ran out of sea bream and offered the sea bass in salted crust (HK$528). As with the other dishes, it was flavourful although tasted a tad overcooked.
