Shoreditch in Kennedy Town is a slice of hip simplicity, much like its namesake district in London. Its unassuming yet trendy character is expressed in its upgraded industrial look, eye-catching décor, pockets of creative graffiti art, easy and casual menu, and cosy pub service.
The grilled ox tongue salad (HK$118) cannot be missed. The herbaceous greens go well with the punchy dressing of mustard, gherkin, egg and parsley. The generous layers of ox tongue are silky-tender inside with a thin layer of crispiness on the outside.

The grilled salmon drizzled with zesty lemon butter sauce (HK$188) is a fresh delight. The skin has a slight crunch, while the meat is fresh and moist. The portion may be slightly small for a heavy eater, but the bite remains worthwhile.
