Trendspotter: winter pastels

Pastels do everything to ease us from lurid summer prints to autumnal tones and we're thankful to Tibi for adding powdery pigments to this year's autumn-winter offering.

Pastels do everything to ease us from lurid summer prints to autumnal tones and we're thankful to Tibi for adding powdery pigments to this year's autumn-winter offering. We love the Panda long coat (pictured right) with baby blue shearling, (HK$6,590) with the Federica Moretti X Tibi hat (HK$2,790) and blue fringe scarf (HK$1,356).

Championing this season's softer tones, Gucci introduced a range of lighter hues on heavy shag and double-breasted mid-length coats. Mango swaps girly for comfy chic with cropped sweaters in light pink and white while Cos maintains clean lines and colour codes, with nothing more garish than a peach plaid skirt suit.

Pastels pair well with a lashing of ice, so it's only fitting that softer shades influence the season's jewellery. Zara's statement collection is right on trend, offering pearl appliqué hairbands and necklaces that complete a gentle winter ensemble.
