Seasons by Olivier E in Causeway Bay offers superior alfresco snacking
Michelin-starred venue

Restaurants withalfresco dining are few and far between in Hong Kong, especially in dense areas such as Causeway Bay. Seasons by Olivier E has an enviably spacious rooftop terrace right in the middle of the shopping district, and is putting it to good use with an all-day "finger food" menu.
Olivier Elzer, executive chef of the Michelin one-star restaurant, designed an extensive menu of small snacks. "The menu will change frequently to guarantee that our guests can enjoy seasonal produce," he says.

"Onions, bacon and Munster cheese are placed on the crust and baked for five minutes. The crispy pizza is perfect bites of summertime," he adds. The latter features Saint Marcellin, a soft cow's milk cheese from the region surrounding Lyon, sourced from La Mère Richard, a famous cheesemonger in the French city.
The chef suggests pairing the two dishes with white wine, although a number of interesting cocktails and mocktails are also on offer, such as the Yellow Submarine, which features Advocaat and Yakult, and Pirates Punch, a cachaca-based cocktail served in a whole watermelon.
If being outdoors on the terrace is too much in the summer heat, these snacks can also be found indoors, in the cafe section of the restaurant.
