Spiga: The best of chef Enrico Bartolini amid 50s Hollywood glamour
- The cuisine is contemporary Italian, and the tasting menu is a good way to sample the best of Bartolini’s creations
Spiga is Enrico Bartolini’s first undertaking outside Italy, where the chef has a total eight Michelin stars across his restaurants. The glamorous Hong Kong eatery, designed by local designer Joyce Wang, is reminiscent of 1950s Hollywood.
The cuisine is contemporary Italian, and the tasting menu is a good way to sample the best of Bartolini’s creations. If dining à la carte, we recommend the Sicilian red prawn. Dessert is white chocolate mousse with mandarin compote and orange dacquoise sponge. Vegan dishes include roasted cauliflower with almonds and black garlic and pumpkin and chestnut soup.
The adjoining terrace, Portico, has a good selection of cocktails and wine.
