There is a private lift from Nüwa hotel at City of Dreams to Jade Dragon. The decor is understated, with curved walls flowing into each section of the restaurant, and open kitchens revealed through interior windows.

Executive chef Kelvin Au Yeung’s menu includes lychee-wood barbecue specialities such as free-range chicken and suckling pig, abalone choices such as whole Yoshihama and South African abalone with goose web, and seafood – Alaskan king crab, prawns and grouper.

Dim sum is good, especially the steamed seafood with bird’s nest dumpling and baked Iberico pork pastry. For dessert, try the signature Chinese almond crème brûlée with bird’s nest and honey.
