Spiga, by chef Enrico Bartolini, does Italian favourites in a 1950s Hollywood setting
- The tasting menu is a good way to sample the best of the chef’s creations, and if dining à la carte, try the Sicilian red prawns
Spiga is chef Enrico Bartolini’s first restaurant venture outside Italy. Bartolini has collected four Michelin stars across his restaurants in his home country. The glam interior, by local designer Joyce Wang, is reminiscent of 1950s Hollywood.
The eatery offers Italian favourites with a contemporary twist – modern cuisine as Italians would have it back at home. The tasting menu is a good way to sample the best of Bartolini’s creations. If dining à la carte, try the Sicilian red prawns. The light vanilla mousse with black truffle toffee, chocolate sponge and puffed rice is delicious. If you want to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, Portico, the adjoining terrace, has a variety of cocktails and wines.
