Inspired by Europe’s grand cafés, The Continental serves contemporary French and Italian Riviera-style dishes. Overseeing the kitchen is executive chef Rene Michelena, previously with La Bettola in Boston and Charlie Trotter’s in Las Vegas, who creates a soulful yet healthy menu.

There is a four-course tasting menu featuring warm beetroot and Stilton cheese, lamb chops and crème brûlée. The á la carte includes a raw, smoked and cured section, pastas and risotto, seafood and meat mains with a choice of cheese and desserts such as lemon chiffon cake and hot croissant bread pudding. The wine list includes Old and New World labels, and some of the city’s best cocktails.
