China's first glass-bottomed suspension bridge is now open. The nearly 600-foot-high, 900-foot-long bridge is located in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in Pingjiang County and it just recently opened to the public.

China's first lady Peng Liyuan gives advice to Julliard singer

And China's first lady, Peng Liyuan, shows her stuff as she imparts advice to a Julliard student singer who performed for her in Mandarin. 
“The most moving thing was that she was so sincere and approachable. I’m very grateful for her patient guidance,” said Liv Redpath, the performing Juilliard student.
Redpath said she had asked a fellow Chinese student for help to practise her Chinese pronunciation and that she had listened repeatedly to Peng’s own recording of the song for weeks before the visit.
