Actor Song Joong-ki is in a relationship with a British woman, his agency confirmed on December 26.
HighZium studio said the 37-year-old has been in a relationship for about a year, and that a friend had introduced them to each other.
“Song is having a good relationship with the woman,” the agency said. “We have nothing more to say about them.”

Earlier in the day, a South Korean newspaper reported on their relationship, saying the woman is of British nationality and is not in the entertainment industry.
It is said that she accompanied Song to a press conference for the fantasy drama series Reborn Rich in Singapore on December 7, where he introduced her to the staff.


In 2017, Song married actress Song Hye-kyo after they co-starred in the 2016 series Descendants of the Sun. They divorced about 20 months later.
Song, who debuted in the 2008 film A Frozen Flower, has starred in films including A Werewolf Boy (2012), The Battleship Island (2017) and Space Sweepers (2021), as well as dozens of series such as Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010), The Innocent Man (2012), Descendants of the Sun (2016), Arthdal Chronicles (2019) and Vincenzo (2021).
He recently finished shooting a film with the working title of Hwaran, and will start filming another movie in which he will play the role of a North Korean defector.

His latest series, JTBC’s Reborn Rich, has gained rave reviews and viewership ratings. He played a man who worked for and is killed by the nation’s top conglomerate, Soonyang Group – only to wake up, in the past, in the body of the youngest member of the owner’s family.
