With four storms swirling near Hong Kong, forecasting the weather is tricky. Here are five healthy ways to unwind this weekend – depending on Mother Nature’s plans.
Maybe a meditative gong bath is in order? Imagine being surrounded by de-stressing vibes while you lie still for an hour.
Doing yoga moves to music and instructions through a headset on a rooftop garden in Central might tickle your fancy.
You could take up the ancient healing art of qigong under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner, join a yoga studio’s anniversary celebration, or kick your fitness level up a notch at an outdoor boot camp.

1. Gong bath with breathwork at Project S Fitness
Looking to relax and unwind this Saturday afternoon? Let sound artist Cheryl Rodriguez immerse you in good vibes with a gong bath at Project S Fitness, in Sheung Wan.
The session will begin with a 15-minute guided breathwork/meditation session, followed by a 60-minute soothing sound sensation.

2. Silent Inside Flow Disco at PMQ

This Saturday afternoon, unwind at a Silent Inside Flow Disco in the Rooftop Garden at PMQ in Central.
Wear glowing wireless headphones and flow to curated music in a yoga practice led by Enting, the Inside Flow instructor at Hong Kong yoga studio The Yoga Room. It starts at 3.15pm and costs HK$200 per person.

3. Qigong with Cindy Wu
Qigong teacher and Chinese medical practitioner Cindy Wu will lead a workshop teaching the ancient Chinese self-healing practice that combines fluid stretches, mindful movement, breathwork and meditation.

4. TodayFit Sunday Bootcamp
Amp up your fitness at this outdoor session at Tamar Park, in Admiralty, on Sunday from 10am to 11am.
