1. Mason Pocket
Apart from coffee, this spacious new cafe on the corner of Queen Street in Sheung Wan on Hong Kong Island offers plenty of natural sunlight and an inviting array of pastries that are baked in-house.

2. The Coffee Club
Not only is this cafe in Hung Hom serious about its freshly brewed coffee, but it stands out with its unique interiors and furniture by local woodmakers Start From Zero. It also offers brunch and more substantial dishes such as curry rice and steak frites, and is pet-friendly to boot.

3. Doddle Coffee
This San Po Kong cafe bills itself as Hong Kong’s only ice drip speciality coffee shop, referring to a method of brewing that tends to yield light, delicate yet flavourful coffees. Along one wall, you will see an impressive set-up with suspended glass vessels holding ice, slowly dripping into coffee grounds below.
