How would you like to spend the first weekend of 2025 in Hong Kong? Choose to chill after weeks of partying or brave the crowds and start shopping for Lunar New Year? Here are some options for you to consider.

1. Une Petite Pause at LPM

If the festive season has taken a toll on your liver, or you are simply and proudly sober, LPM’s new non-alcoholic cocktail menu – available from now until the end of January – will offer indulgence without the booze by incorporating Lyre’s alcohol-free spirits.

Six “sober elixirs” are available, including a spirits-free take on its signature Tomatini, aptly named The Tomati-NO. The original drink is a spin on the Bloody Mary, and this zero-proof version blends ripe tomatoes, tomato juice, white balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Other drinks include the Rose Champagne Colada, which uses both Lyre’s Classico and Lyre’s Spiced Rum with a zero-proof rose wine as well as coconut and pineapple cordial; and the L’Orgeat, combining Lyre’s Amaretti with almond milk and lemon zest. All cocktails are priced at HK$98.
