Viewers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and several other parts of Asia can now tune into the show, as Max can finally be streamed in the region, more than four years after it was launched in the United States as HBO Max.

Fronting the new show are James and Oliver Phelps, identical twins who played Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films between 2001 and 2011. Since its premiere on November 14, reaction on social media has been positive, with people calling the duo “great hosts”.

“When [the team] approached us three months before production, we jumped at the chance. Hosting was something we’d always wanted to do, especially on the scale of what it was,” says James Phelps of the magic-themed baking competition.

Wizards of Baking’s filming took place at Warner Bros Studio Tour London in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, about an hour from central London.
