A de-stressing sound healing session, an “eco-carnival” featuring second-hand clothing markets and a workshop that delves into ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics are just some of the events taking place this hot weekend in Hong Kong. Read on to find out more.

1. Floating Gong Bath with Malbert Lee

This Saturday you can enjoy a sound healing session with Malbert Lee, a sound alchemist and yoga teacher. Organised by Tune In Wellness, the session is designed to help people relax, de-stress and release blocked energy.

The event will begin with a brief talk explaining the advantages of sound vibrations, followed by the application of essential oils to enhance the experience. The session then transitions to sound healing with gongs, singing bowls and other instruments.

During the session, guests can rest in “antigravity hammocks” or cushions on the floor. Comfortable clothes are recommended, while nylon, zips and perfumes with strong scents should be avoided.

The session costs HK$400 plus a service charge if you book on Eventbrite. Click here to learn more about the event.

16/F Simsons Commercial Building, 137–139 Johnston Road, Wan Chai
