5 of the best things to do in Hong Kong this weekend, August 28-30
From a Wagyu challenge and cosmic musicals to clothing swap, meditation and Harry Potter, there’s plenty to do in Hong Kong this weekend

The weather’s looking a bit dicey again this weekend, but there will still be plenty of events happening around town. There’s a Wagyu challenge, a musical with cosmic themes, a clothing swap and a beginner’s meditation class to keep you busy.
If you are looking to learn something new, explore the galaxy, test your intuitive meat-weighing skills or upcycle your wardrobe, there’s a wide variety of options available.
1. “Golden Cut” Wagyu Challenge

On Friday, August 28, Wagyu Yakiniku Jun is hosting a “Golden Cut” Wagyu Challenge for meat lovers across Hong Kong at 7.30pm.
At Wagyu Yakiniku Jun’s branches in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay, guests can observe the chef’s knife skills up close, while each table has one opportunity to guess the weight of a special “Golden Cut” of A5 Wagyu. The table that guesses the exact or closest weight will receive the entire portion of beef.
