It was an entertaining evening at last week's "Festive Musical Fanfare" fundraising concert for the Hong Kong Single Parents Association. The event was supported by a number of VIPs, among them former Legislative Council president Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, HKSPA honorary patron Lily Chow, and socialite couple Ronald and Reggie Kwok.

Guests heard performances by Festive Chamber, the Psalm Wind Orchestra Law Ting Pong Secondary School, Chinese YMCA College, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Lee Ching Dea Memorial School College and Wah Yan College - Kowloon. Theatre Noir's artistic director William Yip and resident choreographer Peter Lawrence guest-directed and choreographed the concert, respectively.

It was a night of glitz and glamour as 500 guests attended the gala auction dinner of The Nature Conservancy, an environmental non-profit, last week. Held at the Grand Hyatt hotel, "A Night of Nature, Art and Wine" raised more than HK$25 million through the auction of artworks, fine wines, event packages and collectibles.
