Altira Macau – one of only eight hotels in the world to have received the Forbes five-star rating for eight years in a row – is marking its 10th anniversary with its “10 Oasis Nights” promotion. Best known for her soft, smooth voice and R&B-style music, Janice Vidal is one of the best-selling Canto-pop singers of her generation. Since kicking off his latest world tour, A Classic Tour, in Beijing last October, Canto-pop king Jacky Cheung Hok-yau has been playing to audiences in cities across the region. In August, A Classic Tour comes to Macau for four nights. Cheung’s concerts – the singer is on tour for the first time since 2012 – are set on an in-the-round stage, and feature hits from his early years, such as Kiss Goodbye, Wishes, Amour and Love Is Over.

This summer, delicious seasonal menus at the three restaurants at JW Marriott Macau are available to please your palate. Man Ho Chinese Restaurant’s chef Wong Wing-kei presents refreshing dishes featuring tofu and seasonal ingredients; Urban Kitchen is relaunching traditional Macanese delicacies; The Lounge is introducing two lobster dinner sets with free flow of selected wines, beers and beverage.

Nothing is more thrilling than a pool party during the hot summer days. Ibiza-style mega club Pacha Macau is presenting Summer Love Pool Party at the outdoor pool of the Hollywood-themed Studio City for the second year, with an international turntablist line-up headlined by Italian DJ and production team Djs From Mars and Grammy winning American house music turntablist Roger Sanchez.
