With environmentally friendly facades, free-form shapes, and 3D-printed materials rapidly defining 21st-century architecture, facade engineering company Asahi Building-Wall (AGB) has fortified the foundations of its future success in Asia-Pacific.
Its 30-year track record of innovative projects showcases a progressive ability to tackle various construction challenges. From creating the “Big Miruchi”, a giant Meiji Milk Chocolate bar made from glass-fibre-reinforced plastic approximately 28 metres tall and 166 metres wide, to translating luxury beauty brand Shiseido’s arabesque motif into a 6,200-square-metre cast aluminium panel enveloping the company’s Tokyo headquarters, AGB’s project resume reflects its expertise in a wide range of materials from expanded metal mesh to marble-inlaid facades.
Underlining its commitment to the overseas market, AGB has been active since 2014 in Singapore, from which it aims to expand into the rest of Asia-Pacific.
