Dr Yan Lin is a senior research scientist at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA). He holds a PhD degree in environmental chemistry from the University of Oslo. Lin’s expertise includes environmental modelling and capacity-building related to multilateral environmental agreements, such as the Minamata Convention on Mercury and the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. Dr Lin has rich experience in international development cooperation on global environmental conventions.
