Xie Maosong

Professor Xie Maosong is a senior fellow of the Taihe Institute and a senior researcher at the National Institute of Strategic Studies at Tsinghua University. He is an expert in strategic research of the new national system of key core technologies at the Ministry of Science and Technology, an adjunct professor in the Department of Literature and History at the Central Party School, an adjunct professor of the Central Institute of Socialism, and a member of the South China Morning Post China Expert Group. He obtained a doctorate in history from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His main research fields involve Chinese history, civilisation and philosophy, Chinese political thought, the political system and national strategy. His forward-looking research on the relationship between the Communist Party of China and Chinese civilisation, digital civilisation and the "new national system" has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad.
