Raphael Edou is the Africa programme manager at the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA-US), leading campaigns that address forest crimes, violation of indigenous people and local communities’ rights, and corruption across Africa. He is a former minister of climate change and forest, and former minister of land use and local governance in Benin. He was also the deputy mayor of Benin’s capital Cotonou.
