Danish Raza

Danish Raza is a New Delhi-based independent journalist with a wide experience spanning digital, print and TV largely in India and the United States. His work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Guardian, The National and Star Tribune. He is former News Editor (South Asia) at VICE and was Assistant Editor at Hindustan Times, one of India’s largest English-language newspapers.

About 90 per cent of cow-related incidents in 2010-2017 were reported after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP took power in May 2014, according to a data journalism site. India’s laws do not make a distinction between cases of murder and lynchings.
