 Mint.com has earned itself a reputation as the web's best resource for personal expense management with good reason. Free to use, easy to navigate, and beautifully designed, it features dozens of tools to help users track, categorise and manage every aspect of their finances. Unique features include bill reminders and alerts, investment tracking, and community message boards in which people can get advice from the site's six million users. Mint is also available for use on a variety of platforms including the iPhone and Android equipped devices. 
 Texthog.com
 Texthog is an innovative expense management tool for mobile devices. Users get a unique e-mail address to which they send text messages noting expenses when they make a purchase. Texthog compiles and organises them into expense reports, graphs and charts for users to access at their convenience. Twitter users can even tweet purchases to their accounts. Basic Texthog accounts are free, while features such as the ability to store receipts are available in plans which start at US$7 per month. 
 Expensify.com
 Expensify is a money management tool for business users and frequent travellers. It can be linked directly to a credit card or bank account for automatic expense tracking, and can log hours and track miles travelled. Using the data, Expensify prepares PDF expense reports that can be approved or rejected, or configured for many levels of approval (for those using the service for a company). The service is free for individual users and US$5 per month per submitter for companies.
