Annie Au Wing-chi has become the first player from Hong Kong to break into the world's top 10 after the latest rankings were released yesterday. She moved up from the 11th place to 10th following her victory over Donna Urquhart of Australia in the final of the Buler Challenge Cup last month. The 22-year-old (pictured) attributed her success to more consistent play after starting full-time training prior to last year's Asian Games. A celebration party will be held at the Hong Kong Sports Institute this weekend.
