To support its growing business in Asia, Crayola is hiring an Asia sales manager to be based at its convenient Shenzhen office, situated only five stops from Lo Wu on the Shenzhen Metro.
The ideal candidate must have a degree in international business, business management, marketing or other related fields and have a minimum of six years' work experience in consumer products, preferably in Asia. Experience in managing distributors and a background in the toy market will be helpful.
Reporting to the general manager, international market at Easton, Pennsylvania, the Asia sales manager is responsible for sales, marketing, planning and budgeting in Asia, including account management, overseeing distributors' performance, category management - product training, pricing and position - and providing market intelligence to Crayola's headquarters.
As such, exceptional leadership qualities - to lead internally and externally - are necessary along with solid capability in fact-based selling, analytical skills, negotiation, strategic planning and interpersonal skills.
