Atmel Asia is hiring a senior human resources generalist for Asia-Pacific to be the point of contact for all employees for HR management in the region.
The position holder will be well-versed in employment-related laws and people issues in Asia, be able to create, drive and lead HR training and development programmes from start to finish, and act as the agent of change to start value-added HR initiatives, human resources information systems and performance management.
The candidate will optimise employees individual performance, assess their overall contribution to the company and periodically analyse compensation and benefits offered to staff. Degree holders in HR management or related disciplines with a minimum of six years' experience as an HR generalist - in which two years were at a supervisory capacity - preferably with a multinational or a company in the semiconductor industry - should apply.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and using programs such as SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft is preferred because the successful candidate will be responsible for human resources information systems management.
Excellent communication skills in English and Putonghua are required and there will be occasional travel in Asia and to America.
