One advantage of a role in the search industry is that it offers a diversified experience. 'We meet different types of people and are constantly facing different client requirements - it's never the same,' Mr Ho said.
'A chief financial officer for one company differs totally from other chief financial officers and every client requirement is different,' Mr Ho said. 'You can't simply get people direct from a database.'
The role is about helping clients recruit an executive and requires a keen understanding of the industry and how to deal with people. 'Our business is a people business,' Mr Ho said.
