An independent philanthropic organisation seeks an exceptional candidate with an interest in arts and education. Based in Hong Kong, The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation is hiring a programme director to assist with its mission of fostering and supporting Chinese arts and culture and promoting a greater understanding of Buddhist philosophy.
The position holder will oversee the foundation's programme plans from initial research, overseeing its development and to monitoring and managing its progression. An excellent track record in creating, developing and implementing creative programmes is required.
A good network in Hong Kong's arts and education communities would be beneficial as the programme director has to identify, assess and select strong local and international partners to create initiatives in line with the foundation's objectives.
Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will also assist with the development of the foundation's long-term strategy, policies and procedures.
A university degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior management position - preferably with a non-profit or non-governmental organisation - are needed, as is someone with a creative and open mind, good interpersonal skills and a leader who can also be a team player.
