Lifestyle International Holdings' principal activity is the operation of lifestyle department stores and retail outlets. It focuses on the high-end department store format. As of December31, 2005, Lifestyle International operated its retailing business through two brand names, Sogo and Jiuguang. The Sogo department stores consist of the company's flagship department stores, Sogo CWB, in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, and Tsim Sha Tsui, which feature a slightly different format that targets younger customers. The Jiuguang department store, which is in Shanghai, has a similar business format to the Sogo stores. During the year to December, 2005, it launched Sogo Club, a lifestyle service centre. Some of the company's subsidiaries include Asia Kinetic, Congenial, Eastlord Development, Everwin Worldwide and Fine Shine.
