Ma On Shan rail services disrupted

A signalling failure caused by a power cut disrupted services on the Ma On Shan rail line for more than two hours yesterday morning, affecting 2,000 passengers. Services between Ma On Shan and Wu Kai Shan, and between Tai Wai and Che Kung Temple were suspended. Trains could operate only every 15 to 20 minutes after repair work finished at 8am. Twenty shuttle buses helped transport passengers.
