Cup Data chooses anti-fraud system from Retail Decisions
China UnionPay Data (Cup Data), the mainland's largest bank card processor, has selected British firm Retail Decisions to provide a fraud prevention and control system. The mainland unit of multinational information-technology services provider Unisys will help Retail Decisions, a payment processing specialist, set up the system known as Prism. Haier wins contract to supply computers to Macedonia schools
Haier Group has won a contract to supply computer equipment for schools in Macedonia using technology from United States-based firm NComputing. About 180,000 NComputing workstation seats will be provided under the contract, along with Haier Linux-based personal computers. NComputing's multi-user technology allows a single computer to be shared by up to 10 users simultaneously through low-cost access terminals. Bien Perez
AsiaInfo lands software deal from China Mobile
AsiaInfo Holdings, a mainland provider of telecommunications software and information-technology security products and services, has signed a contract for an undisclosed amount to expand the business intelligence (BI) system at the Beijing headquarters of China Mobile. China Mobile's BI system, which AsiaInfo originally built in 2003, will gain more features to support the company's growing enterprise and international businesses. Bien Perez
