On the move Seagate Technology, the world's largest computer hard disk manufacturer, has a new option for the home computer user's backup and external storage needs: the FreeAgent family of
data movers.
The product line is made up of external hard drives packaged with software that allows users to manage all their digital data securely at various locations. Elegantly designed, each device has a brushed-aluminium, espresso-brown coloured case with amber illumination on the side.
Copy cat These data movers include the compact FreeAgent Go, which fits easily inside a pocket. It's available in 80-gigabyte (HK$699), 120GB (HK$899) and 160GB (HK$1,199) versions.
The FreeAgent Desktop, compatible with both Mac and Windows PC systems, has a Universal Serial Bus 2.0 interface.
