Head-to-toe pampering at the InterContinental's I-Spa to relax and rejuvenate. The treatment includes foot and body soaks, a facial and a mud wrap. The focus is on renewal.

What was it like?

The two-hour session starts with a foot soak in eucalyptus to cleanse your feet and induce relaxation. The Moor mud body wrap follows, for which I was covered from neck to foot in warm mud and wrapped up. The therapist cleanses your face with neroli cleansing milk, then applies a mud mask to purify and remineralise. After five minutes the mask is removed and you're given a soothing facial massage using a nutrient-rich face cream. An invigorating shower rids the skin of the mud and impurities. This is followed by an aromatic herbal soak in a bath. The water jets provide relief to tired muscles while the aromatic herbs work on relieving you of stress. There's a choice of herbs depending on how you feel and what results you want. An aromatherapy massage using the Kerstin Florian range of aromatic essences rebalances and soothes the body.
