Great view, but not much room for Hermes fashion presentation

The overcrowded Hermes Autumn-Winter 2006 presentation took place at an unusual venue last Friday - the balcony of Pier 4 in Central. With the theme of being 'On Guard', the models were covered with black mesh veils and strode the catwalk without expressions on their faces.

After the show, guests were led through a tunnel to the other side of the balcony which has been creatively rebuilt into a harbour-facing glass house. There were also candles on the roof, which added romance to the party. The only drawback was the small size of the venue. As people flowed in, the seating had to constantly be moved.
