Ok, so iPods are relatively small and easy to carry around. But with 'integration' being such a buzzword these days, it was only a matter of time before Levi's adopted an iPod-friendly approach to denim design.

'Levi's RedWire DLX jeans' may be a mouthful to pronounce, but in an era of 'wearable technology' what would you expect? The design is simple: an iPod docking cradle subtly built into the jeans so you needn't worry about excessive wear and tear of your prized gadget. Once your iPod is safely in place, there is no need to go scrabbling through pockets to adjust the volume or skip songs because a joystick built into the waist of the trousers affords the wearer complete control.

And as if that wasn't enough, the jeans make using pesky earphones a little easier by providing a wire retractor that helps to prevent tangles from forming.

While the jeans are sure to be a magnet for fashionistas desperate to be seen in the latest threads, we can't envisage any of Hong Kong's many labourers turning up to drill all day in them. Especially not at a whopping HK$2,399 a pair.
