lau in praise of cows

Andy Lau Tak-wah made an interesting connection between himself and a cow, the mascot of the Beijing Paralympic Games, at the launch ceremony for the mascot in the capital yesterday. Lau said he was pleased to share the same Chinese birth year.

'Cows are hard-working, kind-hearted and they never have any demands. So are the paralympic athletes; they have to work much harder than others to achieve the goal.' The ambassador for the games also used the ceremony to give his latest album, Voice, to the vice-chairman of the organising committee and to perform his song Today.
