Few words have the ability to make ears prick up like 'exclusive'. And, although the term is overused, Gucci is staking its claim with the announcement of the Landmark Exclusive Collection. Featuring handbags, jewellery and the brand's lauded mahjong set, the collection aims to tempt Hong Kong fashionistas with a chic blend of high-quality workmanship and attitude.
The Gorgeous Handbag line, which has been produced exclusively for the Hong Kong market, features just 85 pieces in materials including leather, suede and crocodile skin. The bags mark the brand's 85th anniversary and each one is embellished with a small plaque inscribed with the words 'Landmark 2006'. Prices range from HK$11,300 to a hefty HK$163,300.
The bling factor comes courtesy of the Horsebit Cocktail Tondo line. The set comprises a necklace (HK$43,290) and pair of earrings (HK$47,750) made of green gemstone tzavorite. Only two sets will be available in Hong Kong.
The products will be available from Gucci's new flagship store at The Landmark, Central, which opens in mid-October. Inquiries: 2839 6900.
