Naoki Takizawa, design director at Japanese label Issey Miyake, will step down after showing his final collection at Paris Fashion Week in October. Takizawa, who has overseen the Miyake men's line for 13 years and the women's line for seven years, will launch his own label within the Issey Miyake group. The new label, Naoki Takizawa,  is set to launch next year.

Juice on Mango

Following H&M's recent collaboration with Viktor & Rolf, high-street label Mango has enlisted Beirut couturier Zuhair Murad to design a limited-edition capsule collection for  autumn. Murad has just shown his latest collection at the Paris haute couture shows.

Posh shades

Victoria Beckham has launched her own line of sunglasses.  The  five styles are inspired by  the 1950s, 60s and 70s.  Prices range from #150 to #170 ($2,150-$2,450), and are available exclusively at Harrods in London.

Sexy agent

Model Kate Moss goes online for her latest advertising campaign for lingerie label Agent Provocateur. Moss will be featured in four mini- films wearing the latest AP creations. The films were shot by Leaving Las Vegas director Mike Figgis and will be marketed in September. Photos will also be featured in the catalogue.

A good Kors

Fashion designer Michael Kors (above)  has been appointed to design a collection of uniforms for 20 W Hotels around the world. The clothes will be inspired by his  diffusion  line and  will include polo shirts, jumpers, trousers, and baby-doll blouses. The clothes will  change seasonally with  more than 50  choices. The uniforms can be viewed later this month at www.victoryresidences.com.

Re Joyce

Luxury boutique Joyce has opened four mono-brand stores at Ocean Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, including Italian brands Marni (shop 118-9, tel: 2118 2508) and Etro (shop 131,  tel: 2118 2502) along with Anna Sui (shop 115,  tel: 2118 2500) and Jil Sander (shop 103A,  tel: 2118 2505).

Browns points

Joan Burstein, founder and owner of hip London boutique Browns,  has been  awarded an honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE). She joins Rose Marie Bravo,  former Burberry chief executive, who  earned  the same distinction last month.

New direction

If John Galliano (below)   leaves the world of fashion, there will always be an opening for him in Hollywood. After watching Dior's recent couture show Miramax chair- man Harvey Weinstein  told pagesix.com  that he would be happy to offer the designer a job. 'I told [Galliano] he should direct movies and when he is ready, to talk to me,' Weinstein said. 'The show was so visual and detailed.'
