Spanish shoemaker Camper has  opened a hotel, Casa Camper, in Barcelona. Located off the city's  Las Ramblas, the 19th-century converted hotel offers 25 stylish rooms with rustic charm.

The Jewellery Design Re-Mastered Exhibition features original works from 20 local jewellery designers who have recently completed  an intensive course in Britain. The Lobby, Three Pacific Place, 1 Queen's Road East, daily, 9am-8pm. Ends July 21.

Dolce & Gabbana  will open a  main store in Shanghai on July 25. The 12,900-sqft  boutique (below) is on the Bund,  and features a volcanic rock floor  and  circular staircase covered in black glass. Luggage brand Samsonite is teaming up with British fashion designer Alexander McQueen to create the Samsonite Black Label. It will include  travel  necessities and  will be available   at Samsonite, Alexander McQueen boutiques and high-end depart-ment stores early next year.

Lane Crawford is hosting Future Fashion, an exhibition featuring the work of 12  promising designers from the graduating class of the Institute of Textiles and Clothing at Polytechnic University.
