ADAPTING TO A corporate culture in a short space of time can prove a real challenge, even for the most hardened service specialists.

Not so for Taste customer services assistant Tim Lui Mo-lam, who has won this year's HKRMA Junior Frontline Level Award after just 1? years of working for the new-generation lifestyle food store.

'During this period, I have learnt a great deal of things, not only about my job but about how to get along with people. This helps me a lot when trying to do a good job,' he said.

But he also felt he won the award because he was an active person who was always willing to express himself and communicate with others.

'By being active, it is easier for me to make people believe in me, and let them feel more comfortable in telling me what they really need,' Mr Lui said.

Taste, which opened in Festival Walk in November last year, seeks to supply Hong Kong's discerning customers with 'more than food'.
