I love cable TV. I'm a typical child of the modern world because, much as I need my daily dose of
the internet, I go crazy without cable.
If my friends hadn't see me for three days, they would know that I lost my internet and cable TV at the same time and, as a result, died from withdrawal.
There's only one problem with cable TV - you get to avoid the news. Now, this might not sound like a problem, but it can be.
You can sit and watch nothing but Discovery Channel or football all day long.
It's not a problem if you read the paper every day.
But if you're like me and hardly ever read anything but the comics section, you could go for weeks or months without knowing what's happening in the world.
