A team of archaeologists have discovered an ancient tomb in the city of Loulan in Xinjiang province, the Beijing Youth Daily reported. The tomb, believed to be the resting place of a Loulan king, had been plundered, but the archaeologists found ornate coffins, silk pieces, wall paintings and corpses. Loulan was a key trading point along the ancient Silk Road until the sixth century.
