I AM a senior form student and I am concerned about the increasing number of people who suffer from heart disease in Hongkong.
This was really brought home to me by the death of legislator Mr Stephen Cheong Kam-chuen and I am concerned about the incidence of heart disease.
People in Hongkong have to work very hard in order to earn a living, especially those from the sandwich classes and lower classes.
Prolonged inflation has made it difficult for them to earn a living. They don't have enough time to exercise, which would enable them to release pressure. Storing up prolonged pressure and tension may eventually lead to someone suffering from heart disease and having a heart attack.
People should take better care of themselves and do more exercise.
